Off Black?

Hey everyone! Today I have something to show you from my Julep Mystery Box I recently got.  This is 2 coats of Julep Brandt it's from the Trina Turk Fall 2012 Collection.

I could not figure out what color this was! Sometimes it looked black, other times it looked blue, green or grey. I just couldn't figure it out! Then someone said this is what is called an "off-black".  I guess I could see that...what do you think??
